The Startup Space

Sitting conveniently between the university and polytechnic campus', the Startup Space is a shared workspace for students and non-students working on new business ideas and a hub for all things startup in Dunedin.

Dunedin Makerspace

Dunedin Makerspace is a shared workshop where everyone is invited to work and create.  We work in many different disciplines, learning new skills from those alongside us and sometimes doing projects we could not do ourselves.  We want to see electronics, craft, art, programming, engineering, cooking and all other types of creative enterprise happening at our workshop.

The Factory

The Factory is a shared space on Dowling St. in the entrepreneurial home of NZ’s 1st clothing factory (1873). Where stuff is made like music, ideas, money, art & friends

Hub 174

Hub 174 is an affordable shared workspace just three minutes walk from the Octagon at 174 Princes St. Hub 174 is a place for freelance professionals and small businesses with a social/ environmental focus, community organisations, start-up projects, artists and other innovators to work from, with on hand mentoring and the opportunity to network and collaborate.

104 Shared Workspace

104 is a shared office in Salisbury House in Dunedin's warehouse precinct, just five minutes walk from the Octagon. The loft is a tidy and cool 300 square metres in a building that’s kind of like a beehive, calm from the outside, but inside it's humming.

A&E Studio is a creative work space currently housing photographers, designers and creative entrepreneurs.
