The last Event for Semester 1 2018, took place Tuesday night at H603 Otago Polytechnic between 5 and 8.45 pm. The judges unanimously nominated A.P.T-Marketing as the winners of Audacious Round One.
All 6 judges and most of candidates were present at the precise time of 5.05pm in H603 re-modelled as Taniwha Den with two tables in an open angle towards the presenting candidates and myself at a small table at the root of the angle. The judges could also see the Power Point presentations on the screen. Each candidate had 5 minutes to pitch, 5 minutes to answer questions and 5 minutes feedback from the Judges.
100co. were the first to pitch, Finn Shewell and Kirio Birks were professional, worked together and matched each other very well during the presentation. Eight other candidates followed, standing out among those were the Winners of Audacious Round One. A.P.T-Marketing (Robert Burroughs, Mark Gowans, Olufemi Olusina and Grayson Orr).
Also well regarded were the MRS (David Mc Caffery and Dion Batchelor) and Forme. (Jaimie Woods and Emily Wallace).
Petridish and Kate Lindsay, judge on the night, handed over a sponsorship to the winner:
-free working desks at her shared office space for 3 months to start.

This was the last Event for Semester One 2018 – 6 judges, 3 ladies (Caroline Terpstra, Kate Lindsay and Rossana Boni) and 3 men (David Frame, Steve Silvey and Andrew Whiley), 18 students in 9 teams presenting their projects on the night.
Thank you for this semester, It's been a privilege to follow the development of the students who joined Audacious this year and I am extremely curious as to their continuous development on their chosen paths.
