Workshop 2 - 8 August 2017 at H603, Otago Polytechnic

The second workshop had Finance, Legal and Taxes as topics which were covered by Conrad Anderson, Bill Munro and David Ehlers respectively.

For Workshop 2, the number of students increased a little from last week's Workshop1, we are happy to notice. Conrad Anderson presented Finance to the students using slides to illustrate his speech.  Question and answer session followed and once students wanted to move on they were free to do so either to the Taxation group, where Mentor David Ehlers explained the issues relating to taxation of Startups, or to the Legal group where mentor Bill Munro spoke about the legal intricacies in the world of the young entrepreneur. 

Both David and Bill came from Webb Farry Lawyers.

The multicultural Group of students left at the end of the Workshop 6.45pm.

Workshop 3 including Branding, Sales&Pitching, Competitor Analysis with some great guest speakers happen at 5PM next Tuesday 15 August and the venue is: H603 Otago Polytechnic.
