Logan Elliott : a true entrepreneur!

When Logan is asked for one thing that describes his deepest passion; it is ‘enabling epic entrepreneurship. Logan defines epic entrepreneurship as combining passion, creativity, adventure & location independence to create incredible businesses.

Logan grew up on a small family farm near Christchurch, New Zealand. Some of his earliest memories were selling pine cones, pet lambs and free-range eggs.  Aged 17, Logan and his Young Enterprise team won company of the year and had an adventure to China, with their anti-cheating cell phone detector device the ‘StopCom Cell Track-R’. 

This gave Logan some more ‘early lessons and inspiration for entrepreneurship’ and was also a huge amount of fun!

An interest in science and technology lead Logan to study an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. While studying the sciences, Logan also was heavily distracted by ‘creating things with amazing people’ – he started the Applied Sciences Students Association, ran festivals and conferences and learnt to perform with fire and stilts. After Logan’s science degree he wanted to learn more about the world of business. So Logan then completed a Masters of Entrepreneurship; a time of his life Logan refers to as ‘hanging out with adrenaline fueled crazy people and having a crash course in business!”. Logan went on to co-found Highly Flammable Ltd (www.highlyflammable.co.nz) in 2010 and take the company national with the support of an incredible team of staff and mentors.

On top of running Highly Flammable Ltd – Logan lectures at the Masters of EntrepreneurshipProgramme in Dunedin, mentors other entrepreneurs and more recently has launched ‘LifetimeCreative’ (www.lifetimecreative.co) to help creatives in business.Logan now spends most of his time running his businesses remotely from various locations in New Zealand and overseas.Logan strongly believes everyone harbors the ‘entrepreneurial spirit'; which can be supported,nurtured and let loose to impact their own lives and the entire world in a positive way.
